update from NSC Bicycle & Pedestrian subcommittee meeting 20 Feb 09 – May 16th 2009

A copy of the DVD has been sent to the following people:

·         111 Federal Ministers and Federal MPs in NSW

·         13 North Sydney Councillors

·         13 Willoughby Councillors

·         9 Mosman Councillors

·         9 Lane Cove Councillors

·         10 City of Sydney Councillors

·         19 North Sydney Precincts ( community groups)

·         5 North Sydney Chambers of Commerce

The Mayor and various staff of North Sydney Council (NSC) have met with the Hon Eric Roozendaal, the former State Minister for Roads, and Michael Daley, the State Minister for Roads.  NSC has also met with Michael Choueifate, the chief of staff for the Federal Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Development and Local Government, the Hon Anthony Albanese and Dorte Ekelunde from the Major Cities Unit.  All parties have expressed support for the project. NSC intends to meet shortly with Clover Moore the Lord Mayor of the City of Sydney Council.
